Vouchers
If you or someone you know is in need of clothing, furniture, or household essentials, Saint Vincent de Paul offers assistance through our voucher program. These vouchers provide access to necessary items at no cost through our thrift store locations. We’re here to help you create a safe and comfortable living space during challenging times.
Clothing Vouchers
Every year, the Society provides over 500 clothing vouchers. Conference members submit a voucher request to our main office that is then forwarded to one of our St. Vincent de Paul stores. Our clients can shop for their clothes based on their individual style and sizes free of charge.
Furniture Vouchers
Last year, the Society provided over 1,000 furniture vouchers throughout the Pittsburgh area. Delivered directly to the client's home, these vouchers included beds, sofas, dining room tables and chairs, nightstands, dressers, and many other everyday furniture items. Furniture vouchers are delivered within 2-4 weeks of request.
Household Goods Voucher
Household goods vouchers, requested by conference members on behalf of their clients, allow clients to shop at one of our six thrift stores for the items they need in their home -- from pots and pans to bedspreads, linens, and pillows.
